The Wesco League in District 1 (North Seattle to Blaine) is moving forward with a different re-start plan for their sports than what the WIAA has rolled out. This move is actually supported by the WIAA who have been consistent in saying that local leagues should first and foremost plan what they believe they can play, when they can play against who they can play. The Everett Herald’s Zac Hereth has this tremendous piece up on Heraldnet.com and we encourage you to read it to further get an idea of what could be more common than sticking with a statewide plan and that is leagues and districts figuring out what is best for them and getting kids back in competition.

You can read Zac’s great piece here.
