Tumwater 4 , Rochester 1

(Rochester, WA) Rochester (3-1) played host to Tumwater (4-1)in a battle for 2nd in the EVCO 2A behind WF West(5-0). The T-Bird’s Gavin Cuoio netted a penalty kick after Dylan Stevens got taken down in the 18 yard box ten minutes into the game.  Javier Paredes Garcia got loose in the box in the 20th but was turned away by Tumwater Keeper Davyn McGilvrey this play would be named our Better Homes and Gardens Home Team Takin it to the House Play of the Game. JPG would get back into the box just 3 minutes later but was fouled and lead to a PK taken and converted by Justin Cocher in 23 minute. Dylan Stevens put Tumwater back up on a nice goal in the 35th and giving Tumwater the 2-1 halftime lead. The T-Birds Junior Forward wasn’t done scoring in the game notching goals in the 44th and 75th minutes completing the hat trick and being named ESN’s Thorbeckes Game MVP.

Tumwater improves to 5-3-1 overall and 5-1 in EVCO 2A play with a home game against 4A Skyview on 3/29. Rochester is now 4-4 overall and 3-2 in League with a matchup with EVCO 2A leader WF West on 3/29
