As we come to the end of May, we are now into the thick of things for State Baseball and we will crown new state champions in just under a week.
For the 1A state baseball tournament, the defending champions Overlake/Bear Creek were just one of three teams to upset their way to the semifinals. The #5 seed Growls will be joined by #8 Bellevue Christian, #7 Charles Wright/Life Christian Academy, and #3 La Center who are in the semifinals for the first time in program history.
Below are the semifinal matchups, link to State Bracket and as the tournament rolls on we will post the most recent games and coverage at the top of the story. We will cover our games and try to find additional coverage from other media groups and link their stories and coverage to those that we find.
