Last Friday and Saturday, the WIAA State Girls Tennis Tournaments took place across the state. Below are the results from each class, for both singles and doubles tournaments and team championships with a link to the full results from the State Tournaments.
4A
Singles Champion: Kirsten Kam, Skyline
The Skyline senior tabbed as the 12th seed in the tournament came away with a three set win to clinch the state title.

Doubles Champion: Hailey Kerker & Taryn Kerker, Camas
The sister tandem capped off their senior year in style dropping only one game in the state championship match.

Team State Champion: Newport

Singles Champion: Tayler Conway, Liberty (Renton)
After being pushed to a third set in her semifinal matchup, Conway won the state title taking both sets 3,3.

Doubles Champion: Rachel Garton & Sarah Garton, Mercer Island
It takes four matches to win state tournament when having a first round bye like the Garton sisters did. They only dropped a whopping six games towards winning the state title.

Singles Champion: Rhona Wang, Pullman
A second set bagel in the championship carried Wang to a state title.

The junior tandem cruised to the title without dropping a single set.

Singles Champion: Lily Zhu, Overlake
The Overlake state champion dropped her only two games in the title match, in a commanding championship win for Zhu.

Doubles Champion: Galia Harmelin & Logan Sternfeld, University Prep
In one of the tightest championship matches this year, the University Prep doubles team survived a decisive third set 6-4 to come away with the state title.

Team State Champion: Overlake

Singles Champion: Avi Sahota, Jenkins (Chewelah)
In an all Jenkins final, Sahota gutted out a straight sets win (6-4, 6-4) over her sister Gursimr to claim the state championship.

After winning their first round match with a 7-5 second set win, the Freeman doubles tandem cruised towards winning a state title, dropping only three games in the title match.
