SEATTLE, WASH

The Seattle Kraken relieved assistant coach Dave Lowry and goaltender coach Steve Briere of their duties Friday afternoon. Lane Lambert is set to be introduced officially as Seattle’s Head Coach at a press conference at 11 a.m. on Monday.

The move opens the door for Lambert to usher in his own coaching staff in prep for the 2025-26 NHL season.

As Lane Lambert evaluates the coaching staff, we’ve made the decision to relieve assistant coach Dave Lowry and goaltending coach Steve Briere of their duties. We appreciate all their hard work and dedication to the Kraken and wish them luck on their future endeavors.

With the uncertainties of the staff for next year, Jessica Campbell will serve as assistant for a second season.

Lane Lambert takes over for former Head Coach Dan Bylsma who was let go after one season. ESN will provide updates on Monday of the press conference welcoming new Head Coach Lane Lambert to Seattle.
