(Spokane, WA) The Washington Men’s Amateur Championship holds five qualifiers across the state to determine the field. The second qualifier was held at Latah Creek Golf Course, where 12 golfers made the cut to play at the Washington Men’s Amateur Championship, held later this month at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville.

Jacob Rawley from Ephrata led the way with a bogey-free 66 to lead the field. Rawley played the sixth through tenth holes at 6-under, with four birdies and an eagle. Benjamin Mulder from Spokane also went bogey-free, shooting a 5-under 67 to finish in solo second. Trey Lecheminant from Yakima took third with a 3-under round of 69. Eli Wiecking from Liberty Lake was the last player under par, shooting 70 to finish at 2-under and solo fourth.

Tied for fifth were Geo Pirrie and Jack Connaughton, both from Spokane, with level par 72s. Andy Hobson from East Wenatchee, Jack Brigham from Spokane, and Alexander Cooke, also from Spokane, tied for seventh with 1-over rounds of 73. Chadwick Smith from Liberty Lake was solo 10th with a round of 2-over 74. Nick Anderson from Deerpark and Brian Henderson from Spokane tied for 11th at 3-over to secure the last spots in the Championship.

Luke West from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, shot 4-over and is the first alternate. Jaden Snitynsky from Vernon, British Columbia, Canada, shot 5-over and is the second alternate. Max Hosfeld from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is the third alternate, also at 5-over. Joe Githens from Issaquah is the fourth and final alternate after a 6-over round of 78.
