(DuPont, WA) The second round of the Washington Women’s Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championships is complete. Below are the results from both Championships.
Women’s Amateur Championship
Grace Lee from Bellevue has a pair of 1-under rounds of 71 to put her in solo first place at 2-under. Lee is the only player with both rounds being under par. Darae Chung from Eugene, Oregon, shot an even par 72 to put herself one shot back of Lee at 1-under for the Championship. Suzie Tran from Poulsbo had the round of the day with a 2-under 70 to jump up to solo third place at even for the Championship. Bonnie Lo from Taiwan is in fourth place at 2-over par. Cienna Lee from Lacey and Angela Zhang from Bellevue are tied for fifth at 5-over.
Rounding out the top 10 are Nicole Koong from Sammamish and Amber Li from Bellevue, who are tied for seventh at 6-over. Maia Miller from Snoqualmie and Kennedy Knox from Normandy Park are tied for ninth at 7-over.

Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship
Tina Papatolis from Issaquah had the only round under par in the gross competition, firing a 2-under 70. Papatolis is in control of the Championship with a five-shot lead after holding just a one-shot lead after the first round. Desirae Clark from Puyallup is in second place at 7-over, but improved from her first round with a 74 in round two after opening with 77. Mandy Wong from Mercer Island is third at 12-over, Leslie Folsom from Tukwila is in fourth place at 13-over, and Emily Lau from Seattle rounds out the top five at 20-over.
Yoomee Mun from Tacoma and Papatolis are tied for the lead in the net championship. Both are tied at 2-under going into the final round. Mison Kang from Renton and Desirae Clarke from Puyallup are three shots back in a tie for third at 1-over.
