(Auburn, WA) Friday night racing featured 7 races with a total of 57 starters averging 8.1 runners per race. The bettors were attracted laying down $944,771 in betting handle an average of $134,967 per race.

The best pay-offs were bookended in the 1st race and 7th and last race. In the 1st race, Beverly T won at 7-1 odds triggering a huge $3,966.90 for the $1 superfecta.

In the last race, 8-1 Calorese and Silvio Amador finished 1st and paid $31.24 on the $2 combo bet. With 4 of 5 favorites winning the 2nd thru 6th race and a 2nd choice at 2-1 winning the other race paid multiple pick 6 winners with a $6,541 carryover for the 20-cent pick 6.

Kevin Krigger was coming off an 8 win week and started this one off with 2 more wins taking the 2nd and 3rd races. Chel-c Bailey’s win in the opener was her 2nd win of the season. She won on Beverly T which also gave trainer Neil Koch his 1st win of the season along with owner Larry Odbert.

Adrian Castellanos scored his 3rd win of the season on odds-on choice Move Over in the 4th for owner/trainer Miguel Hernandez. Julien Couton won on a Tom Wenzel trained Silvery Orb, Silvio Amador took the finale for trainer Faustino Coco Patino for his 1st training win of the 2025 season.

And Juan Gutierrez won the feature race on Miss Dynamic for owner/breeder Antonio Mendoza and trained by Rigoberto Velasquez.

6th Race Feature Race the Muckleshoot Casino Purse

The speedy Miss Dynamic held off Kristin Lee and prevailed by a half-length in Friday’s $20,000 Muckleshoot Casino Purse for older fillies and mares at Emerald Downs.

With regular rider Juan Gutierrez in the saddle, Miss Dynamic covered six furlongs in 1:09.47 and returned $5.04 as the betting favorite. Rigoberto Jesse Velasquez is the winning trainer for owner/breeder Antonio Mendoza of Hermiston, Ore.

A 5-year-old Washington-bred by Dynamic Impact, Miss Dynamic improved to 5-3-2 in 14 starts lifetime with earnings of $117,355. She was state champion 2-year-old filly of 2022, when she was stakes placed three times including a win in the Angie C Stakes.

In Friday’s race, Miss Dynamic put away Sing a Happy Song after four furlongs in :44.12, and then braced for a fresh challenge by Kristin Lee, holding that one off in a strong drive to the wire.

Kristin Lee, ridden by Kevin Krigger, angled out for room into the lane and offered a bold challenge to the winner, finally coming up a half-length short at the wire.

A Rousing Babe rallied to finish third while Lets Declare Peace, Stepup, Harney Lane, Sing a Happy Song, and Simply Gracious rounded out the full order of finish.

7-1 Beverly T with a well timed ride by Chel-c Bailey rolled over the top of the front speed late to post a 3 length win going 1-mile in a time of 1:41.10. Beverly T is owned by Larry Odbert and trained by Neil Koch. Rockyscents got up for 2nd with Kevin Krigger, running 3rd was Parlay Bay with Manny Americano and taking 4th 25-1 Trickle and Francisco Monroy.

2nd Race

1-1 favorite Eyelight and Kevin Krigger went straight to the lead and never gave it up for the 6 1/2-furlong run in a final time of 1:17.10. Eyelight races for Bruce Cudahy and trained by Dan Markle. Cudahy also bred Eyelight in Washington and is an Atta Boy Roy prodigy out of Bikini Beach by Harbor the Gold.

La Popis with Julien Couton ran on well to be 2nd, Our Lyla Grace and Manny Americano took 3rd while Roses R Blue and Alex Cruz completed the superfecta.

Kevin Krigger continued his re-newed hot streak with his 2nd win on the day with Shelby Gold covering the 1-mile in 1:36.79 for trainer Tim McCanna and owners Hern/LePley Racing. Shelby Gold is a Washington bred by Harbor the Gold out of Donadue by Uh Oh Bango and was bred by Eric Jensen.

Greatful Attitude and Isaias Enriquez were a clear 2nd, Sunglasses under Adrian Castellanos was 3rd with Gold Coast Girl and Juan Gutierrez taking 4th.
