(Lacey, WA) The Saint Martin’s Saints lost a heartbreaker two nights ago to Alaska-Anchorage and were looking for redemption on Saturday. The Saints hosted #21 Alaska, who had a 12-match win streak earlier this season. The first two sets were extremely competitive and back-and-forth, but the Nanooks pulled away in the third set to complete the sweep. Saint Martin’s drops to 11-8 overall and 4-7 in GNAC play and will look to bounce back on the road next week. The Saints have two tough tests, going at #19 Western Washington on Thursday and @ #8 Simon Fraser on Saturday.
