(Langley, B.C., Canada) On the final day of the DII Canadian Tip-Off Classic, the Saint Martin’s Saints Women’s Basketball team faced Colorado Mesa. The Mavericks jumped out to an 18-6 lead after the first quarter and didn’t look back. The Saints fell 65-40 to drop to 1-2 on the season. Saint Martin’s didn’t have a player score in double figures and shot only 21.2% from the floor and 1-16 from three-point land. The Saints will play the University of Hawai’i in an exhibition on November 13 before playing in the GNAC-PacWest Conference Challenge the following two days. Saint Martin’s faces Chaminade University on Friday, November 14, and Hawai’i Pacific on Saturday, November 15.
