11/9/25
(Lacey, WA) The Saint Martin’s Saints were looking to get back over .500 over Northwest Nazarene, and the match went the distance in a Saturday afternoon thriller. The Saints dropped the opening set 25-20 but recovered to win set two 25-22. Northwest Nazarene narrowly took the third set 25-23, and the Saints took the fourth 25-22, forcing a fifth set. Saint Martin’s trailed 6-2 early in the final set, but a 6-0 run sparked things for the Saints to take the lead. Saint Martin’s closed out the final set, winning 15-11 to get back in the win column. Saint Martin’s now sits 12-11 overall, doubling their win total from last year, and 5-10 in GNAC play, one more win than a year ago. The Saints go on the road next week to Seattle Pacific and Montana State Billings before closing out the season against Western Oregon at home on November 22.
