The Saint Martin’s Saints Women’s Basketball team hit the floor at Marcus Pavilion for the first time in the 2025-26 season. They took on Point Loma and held a three-point lead after the first quarter, 18-15. The Sea Lions flipped the script in the second quarter, outscoring the Saints 18-15 as the game was tied 33 apiece at the half. After holding the Saints to only 10 points in the third, Point Loma opened up a seven-point lead, 50-43, entering the fourth quarter. The final quarter was a wild one, with both teams lighting up the scoreboard, but Point Loma would get the win 75-65 to knock off Saint Martin’s. Saint Martin’s had three players in double-figures as Laiken Hill led the way with 16 points. Kiana Rios had 15 points, Karyss Lacanlale came off the bench with 11 points, and Avery Oaster had 12 rebounds.

The Saints drop to 3-3 on the season and have an exhibition game on Tuesday against The Evergreen State.
