(Renton, WA) The 2025 high school football season is officially down to the final 6 games and 12 teams and will conclude next Friday and Saturday at Husky Stadium.
The football seeding committee’s turned in quite a performance with only the 4A off significantly but when compared to the other committee’s this seaspon. The 3A, 2A, 1A and 1B all nailed it with the 1 seed facing the 2 seed. 3A, 1A and 1B were perfect in the final 4 with seeds 1-4. 2A was off by 1 with the 1-3 and 5 seeds in. The 2B has the 1 vs 3 seed in the Championship with the 5 and 7 seeds also in the semifinals.
The 4A had #1 Puyallup facing #5 Sumner, the defending 4A champs and #2 Lake Staevens taking on #6 Graham-Kapowsin and it will be a #2 vs #5 showdown or Lake Stevens vs Sumner. Those two teams faced off in the opening week with Lake Stevens winning 31-28 on the final play of the game.
