(Tacoma, WA) The 11th annual T-Town Throwdown, hosted at Silas High School, tips-off on Monday and runs through Wednesday. Every team will play three games to close out the 2025 portion of the season. The eight teams competing this year are Bethel, Bainbridge, Nooksack Valley, Puyallup, Juanita, Kelso, Inglemoor, and Silas. ESN will stream every game of both the boys and girls tournaments. This hub will be updated as the tournament goes on with game recaps, highlights, and a link to the full game replay for every game.

Winners Bracket (Semifinals) – Tuesday, December 30
Bethel Bison 67, Nooksack Valley Pioneers 37
It was a 1A/4A battle for a spot in the T-Town Throwdown Championship Game. Bethel shot the lights out in the first quarter, building a 24-3 lead after the first frame. Bethel built up a 43-15 halftime advantage in the semifinal. Bethel’s lead grew up to 35 points with a 57-22 third-quarter lead. Bethel would win 67-37 to advance to the T-Town Throwdown Semifinals.

Consolation Bracket – Tuesday, December 30
Puyallup Vikings 59, Bainbridge Spartans 55
After Bainbridge lost in heartbreaking fashion to Bethel, and Puyallup went up against a tough Nooksack Valley team, both sides were looking to get in the win column on day two of the T-Town Throwdown. In the first quarter, Bainbridge took a narrow 20-18 lead. The Spartans held a slightly bigger lead at halftime, up five at 34-29. Bainbridge maintained their 45-40 lead after three quarters. In the fourth, Puyallup came back with wonderful defense to narrowly edge the Spartans and win 59-55, advancing to the third-place game.
The Sumner Holiday Inn Express Game MVP honors went to Puyallup’s Chloe Gage, who led all scorers with 23 points.
Puyallup’s Isabel Ostrander had 10 points, Ellinor Meyer had seven points, Laney Weaver and Hannah Hite each had five points, and Mia Stallcop and Jaycee Kemp had three points each.
Bainbridge was led by Jordan Gartner, who had 13 points, Anna Rowe had 11 points, Josie Knapp and Ada Reitz both had 10 points, Elsa Drugge had eight points and Kaela Cole had three points.

Bainbridge Turns Defense To Offense Before Halftime Buzzer
Silas Rams 62, Kelso Hilanders 48
The tournament hosts, Silas, jumped out to a 23-8 lead after the first quarter. Kelso outscored in the second quarter but Silas still led 34-21 at the halftime break. Kelso trimmed the deficit down as Silas took a 46-39 advantage going into the fourth quarter. The Rams would get the victory 62-48 to move on to the third-place game.
The Sumner Holiday Inn Express Game MVP went to Emerie Kennedy from Silas, who had 21 points, including five three-pointers.
For Silas, Annique Smith had 11 points, Abigail Fuoco had nine points, Jordin Palu-Pinkett had seven points, Olivia Tiggs, and Aminah Mahmoud had four points each, and McKenna Coleman had two points.
Kelso’s Payton Champagne led all scorers with 25 points, Karsyn Hall had nine points, Elenor Treadway had seven points, and Maali Amrine had five points.

First Round – Monday, December 29
Bethel Bison 56, Bainbridge Spartans 55
The first game of the tournament began with smothering defense from both sides. Bethel had a 16-12 advantage after the first quarter, using some timely offense to gather the lead. Bainbridge battled back in the second quarter to outscore Bethel by two points as Anna Rowe had nine points for the Spartans, but the Bison led 29-27 with Emeri Trahan-Delgado pouring in nine first-half points. Bethel took a 44-39 lead after the third quarter with the help of forcing turnovers and a buzzer-beating basket from Timari Fruster. In the fourth, it was a back-and-forth affair, with Bainbridge gaining the lead late. Bethel hit a three-pointer with Shavon White with 10 seconds left to give the Bison a 56-55 lead and the victory.
Our Sumner Holiday Inn Express Game MVP went to Bethel’s Shavon White, who had 14 points and the game winner for the Bison.
Bethel was led by Timari Fruster who had 15 points, White had 14, Satuye Trahan-Castillo, Emeri Trahan-Castillo and Na’leiyah Duncan each had nine points, Ina Taman had two points and Jordyn Simatic had one point.
Bainbridge’s Anna Rowe led the way with 19 points, Ada Reitz had 12 points, Josie Knapp had 11, Jordan Gartner with five, Allie Paulson-Houser had four points, and Camille Carey and Kaela Cole each finished with two points.

Nooksack Valley Pioneers 46, Puyallup Vikings 32
In a rare 1A/4A matchup, the two sides met up with a chance to face Bethel in the T-Town Throwdown semis. Nooksack Valley jumped out to a 12-11 lead after the first quarter, which was very tightly contested. Nooksack Valley extended their lead for a 27-19 advantage at the half. Nooksack Valley shut down Puyallup in the third quarter as the Pioneers led 37-25. The Pioneers went on to win 46-32 to move on to face another 4A SPSL opponent in Bethel in the semifinals.
The Sumner Holiday Inn Express Game MVP went to Nooksack Valley’s Chayleigh Davis, who had 13 points to lead the way for the Pioneers.
Nooksack Valley also had 13 points from Raegan Burke, eight points from Payton Bartl, seven points from Grace DeHoog, three points from Kaitlyn Biondolillo, two points from Natalie Van Liew, and one point from Lisette Flores.
Puyallup was led by Chloe Gage with 10 points, Jaycee Kemp finished with nine points, Laney Weaver had seven points, Ellinor Meyer had four points, and Hannah Hite had two points.

In the third first round game of the day, Kelso and Juanita battled it out for a spot in the T-Town Throwdown semis. Juanita came out of the first quarter on top, 9-7, after a very defense-heavy quarter. The defense continued in the second quarter, as Juanita led 20-15 as points were hard to find in the half. Juanita only held a 37-34 lead after three quarters as the Hilanders kept battling back. Juanita pulled away for a 44-35 victory and advanced to the semifinals.
The Sumner Holiday Inn Express Game MVP went to Juanita’s Mayli Tuomisto, as she had a game-high 17 points to lead the Ravens to victory.
Juanita’s Gabby Lasley had 15 points, Bianca Bell had five points, Veronica Litwin had three points, and both Mabel Borgen and Lilly Johnson had two points.
Kelso’s Peyton Champagne had 10 points to lead the way for the Hilanders, Eleanor Treadway had eight points, Kailanah Hagdahl-Daniel and Hayden Johnson both had four points, Karsyn Hall had three points, and Kinsey Palmer, Bree Wesemann, and Maali Amrine all had two points.

In the nightcap, Inglemoor and tournament hosts, Silas, hit the floor to complete the final piece of the T-Town Throwdown Semifinal puzzle. Inglemoor held a tight lead of 16-12 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Vikings had another 16-point quarter, but importantly held Silas to just eight points to open up a 32-20 lead at the halftime break. Inglemoor took a 14-point advantage through the third quarter at 45-31. Inglemoor would advance to the T-Town Throwdown Semifinals with a 56-41 victory.
Our Sumner Holiday Inn Express Game MVP went to Inglemoor’s star freshman, Blair Lee, who led everybody with 22 points, including six threes and a 10-point second quarter.
Inglemoor’s Grace Ding was also in double-figures with 11 points, Jayda Branch had six points, Emilie Desilet had five points, Kainoa Yim had four points, and rounding out the Vikings scoring was Claire Stewart with two points.
Leading the way for Silas was Annique Smith with 11 points, Jordin Palu-Pinkett had nine points, Abigail Fuoco finished with eight points, Emerie Kennedy had five points, and Olivia Tiggs and Aminah Mahmoud both had four points.
