The Saint Martin’s Saints Men’s Basketball team is ranked in the top 25 of the NCAA Division II NABC Coaches Poll for the first time this season. Last week, the Saints received votes but were outside the top 25. After a nail-biting win over Seattle Pacific last Thursday and a road win over No. 23 Montana State Billings, the Saints are ranked No. 22 this week and are the only GNAC school in the top 25. This is the first time this season Saint Martin’s has been ranked in the top 25, and the fourth straight year head coach Aaron Landon has led the Saints to being ranked inside the top 25. Two years ago, Coach Landon’s Saints squad was ranked No. 1 in the country for the first time in program history. Saint Martin’s is currently riding a nine-game win streak, tied for the third longest in program history. The Saints have just one game this week, hosting Western Oregon on Saturday.
