(Seattle, WA) The Seattle Seahawks are headed to Super Bowl 60 and will face ther same opponent the last time they made in 2014, the New England Patriots.

The Seahawk defense always has trouble with the Rams offense and again LA was efficient. But defene isn’t always about a lock down defensive showcase like it was against the 49ers. Defense can simply be coming up with the big plays and big stops when you most need them and that is exactly what the Seahawk defense did.

This opened the door for the Seahawks offense to shine against a Rams defense that had just given up 30 points to Carolina and nearly lost to the Bears. Sam Darnold was battling the narrative he folds in big games. Daraold and company proved all the skeptics wrong with a brilliant performance going 25-36 for 346 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions or fumbles.

As usual, Jaxon Smith-Njigba was on the receiving end the most with 10 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown. The former Ram and Yakima native, Cooper Kupp had 4 catches for 36 yards with 2 huge 1st downs and a TD.

The Seahawks now have 2 weeks to prepare for the New England Patriots in Santa Clara, CA at the 49ers home stadium. The Super Bowl will kick off on Sunday, February 8 at 3:30pm. The game will be on NBC.
