It is not often that four teams come into a regular season finale with the possibility of being either a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th seed in a district tournament. But with the Nisqually League being the only representation for the 1A classification in District 3, Thursday night brings an intriguing set of scenarios to shape out the District 3 1A Boys Basketball Bracket.

Annie Wright, Bellevue Christian, Cascade Christian, and Seattle Christian all are in play Thursday night to come away with any seed between 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

Four teams come into the final night of the regular season with a record of 6-1 with each team having their lone Nisqually League loss to a different opponent. Seattle Christian defeated Bellevue Christian this season by a count of 57-48 on January 10th. Bellevue Christian defeated Annie Wright last Friday 48-44. Annie Wright defeated Cascade Christian on January 29th 53-47. And Cascade Christian edged Seattle Christian on January 22nd 48-44.

Thursday night sees Seattle Christian hosting Annie Wright at 7pm. Bellevue Christian that same night travels down to Puyallup to face Cascade Christian also at 7pm.

Whoever wins tomorrow night is assured a top two seed in the District Tournament. Since the 3rd and 4th seeds of the District Tournament are forced to host a loser out game against the 5th or 6th seed teams in the Nisqually League, winning on Thursday night is paramount. The seeds would be decided by head to head record for both the 1st and 2nd seed and the 3rd and 4th seed regardless of the outcomes in any fashion.

East Jefferson faces Vashon Island Thursday night with the winner being the 5th seed and traveling to face the 4th seed February 14th for a loser out playoff game. The loser of the East Jefferson-Vashon game would be the sixth seed and travel to the 3 seed that same night on the 14th for a loser out playoff game.

The District Semifinals features the number 1 seed facing the winner of the #4/#5 playoff game. And the #2 seed facing the winner of the #3/#6 game. A semifinal victory ensures a trip to state and berth in the District Championship game on February 19th @ Seattle Christian. A loss in the semifinals plays in a winner to state loser out game on the 19th that also would be held at Seattle Christian.

2 Seed: Win vs SCS + Bellevue Christian Win vs CCS

3 Seed: Loss vs SCS + Bellevue Christian Win vs CCS

4 Seed: Loss vs SCS + Bellevue Christian Loss vs CCS

Bellevue Christian Vikings:

1 Seed: Win vs CCS + Seattle Christian Loss vs AW

2 Seed: Win vs CCS + Seattle Christian Win vs AW

3 Seed: Loss vs CCS + Seattle Christian Win vs AW

4 Seed: Loss vs CCS + Seattle Christian Loss vs AW

Cascade Christian Cougars:

1 Seed: Win vs BCS + Annie Wright Loss vs SCS

2 Seed: Win vs BCS + Annie Wright Win vs SCS

3 Seed: Loss vs BCS + Annie Wright Win vs SCS
