The USGA announced the qualifying sites for the 81st U.S. Women’s Open, and Seattle has been selected as one of 26 sites across the world. On Tuesday, April 28, Rainier Golf & Country Club in Seattle will be one of three qualifying sites that day as women from across the globe look to qualify for our national championship. The U.S. Women’s Open will be held from June 4-7 at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California. This is the first U.S. Women’s Open held at the club and in Greater Los Angeles. Players seeking to compete in the U.S. Women’s Open qualifier must not have a handicap index exceeding 2.4. Last year, Sweden’s Maja Stark won her first major by winning the U.S. Women’s Open at Erin Hills in Wisconsin.
