Texas Tech starting Quarterbck Brendan Sorsby was granted an injuction from a Texas Judge on Monday which will allow him to play football for the Red Raiders this coming season.

Sorsby was suspended for gambling near $90,000 on college and pro sports while a member of the Indiana Hoosier football team. His bets included wagers on the Hoosiers while he was on the team.

The NCAA is appealing the ruling but it is no exptected to heard and ruled on by the court of appeals before the season concludes.
