Prof. DW’s Football Postseason Tournament!

Professor DW’s Exclusive Football
Postseason Challenge!

Welcome to the 2025-26 Professor DW’s  “EXCLUSIVE” Postseason Pro Football Pick ‘em Challenge! You’re one of 23 who qualified for the chance at $1,500+ in prizes with the Ticket Bonanza. A full description is below in the official rules with a straight pay-out option for the winner to consider.

The Postseason tournament is 4 rounds over 5 weeks tournament. You will make your selection of teams as usual but there will be additional questions for you to answer each week. Such as which team will win the coin flip, or which QB will have the most passing yardage.

Each prediction or question will all be worth 1 point. There will be a total of 10 points you can earn each of the first three weeks for a total of 30 points.

Then on Super Bowl Sunday there will be 25 points available, 5 for selecting the Super Bowl Champion and 1 point for all 20 questions for a grand total of 55 points being a perfect score. Anyone can make a big run on Super Sunday if you remain in the mix through the 1st 3 weeks.

Please refer to all the Rules and Information below Round 1’s entry form. Be sure to read each question carefully before answering. If you are unsure read the rules first below and if you still have a question e-mail Paul at paulbelisportsnetwork@gmail.com but must be prior to the deadline to enter.

Official Rules for Professor DW’s Postseason Tournament Football Challenge

Eligibility

  1. This contest is 100% free of charge and you must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
  2. Employees and active contractors of Eli Sports Network are not eligible to win. They may participate and we will note those ineligible to win.
  3. Contestants are allowed 1 entry per person.
  4. Entries are due Saturday, 9AM on 1/10/2026, 1/17/2026, 1/24/2026 and 2/7/2026

Entries and scoring points

Select the teams you believe will win the game with no point spread, just need to pick the winning team.

Questions: Some of the questions will be easy and maybe 50/50 such as the coin flip will be heads or tails. Or how many penalties will be called in the game 12.5, over or under. We added the .5 so there is no tie.

Other questions may have more than 1 correct answer so be sure to read each question and make your best prediction. Each correct answer will get a point. For example, which team kicked the longest field goal and if more than one team kicked a 55-yard field goal then picking any of those teams will earn you the point.

Other questions may be limited to the choices listed. For example, which QB will throw for the most yards? We may list only 4 names which means the competition is between just those 4 so if an unlisted QB throws for more yards than any of the 4 listed, that does not count and the winning point is awarded to only the names we list.

Tie-Breakers

There is the usual tie-breaker of predicting the total yardage of made field goals in all 13 postseason games. Extra points are NOT included in the total. You must fill that out with your 1st entry. The Price is Right rule is in effect which is you cannot go over. The closest without going over will be declared the winner. This means if you guess 1000 and the total is 999 you’re over and if the person you were tied with guessed 1 they would win because they didn’t go over.

In the unlikely event there is still a potential for a tie, the contestant selecting the winning team of the Super Bowl will be declared the winner. If there is still a potential tie each affected contestant will then receive a secondary tie-breaking question. The only chance of this happening is for contestants to first guess the same amount of total points scored in all 13 games and then each selecting the same team to win. But we will keep offering tie-breaker questions until there are different answers and no chance of a final tie.

The questions have been determined for each week with a caveat that all questions prior to the week may be tweaked if for instance there is an injury and a player is no longer available and the question was which QB would throw the most TD’s in a week and that QB was injured and not playing.

Players may enter any or all of the weeks. For weeks they do not enter they get 0 points. If you miss the 1st week you will not be able to enter a tie-breaker number. So if you end up in a tie for any of the prizes you will automatically lose the tie-breaker to the player who entered a tie-breaker regardless of if their guess is over or not.
