The Kitsap Sun’s Sports Editor Jeff Graham has been following the saga of the Central Kitsap Athletic Directors who worked their last day this past Friday. The School District has now furloughed all three without pay until sports returns. Last week after mixed signals from the School Board a large showing at their Board meeting the public got the assurance that sports would remain a priority in the District and that maybe organizing a committee to help assist the transition back to sports and other extra curricular activities would be helpful. 

Apparently a committee has been put together but will move forward without the 3 District High School AD’s as they have all declined to work for free. Read Graham’s tremendous reporting in this follow up story here.
