On Monday, three U.S. Open Final Qualifiers took place in Dallas, Texas, Surrey, England, and Shiga Prefecture, Japan. There were 18 spots in the U.S. Open up for grabs across the three sites. There will be 10 Final Qualifiers on June 2, with one of the sites at Wine Valley Golf Club in Walla Walla. The U.S. Open is being held at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, from June 12 – 15.

In Dallas, Texas, at Bent Tree Country Club, there were seven qualifying spots available. There were lots of familiar names that competed, with the likes of Sergio Garcia, Peter Malnati, Alejandro Tosti, Charley Hoffman, Abraham Ancer, and many other recognizable professional golfers. Rasmus Neergaard-Peterson from Denmark took medalist honors at 11-under. James Hahn and Adam Schenk finished one shot back at 10-under. Lance Simpson (a), Cameron Tankersley (a), and Carlos Ortiz all finished T-4 at 8-under. There was a seven-for-one playoff, where Johnny Keefer won to snag the final spot. Doug Ghim and Cameron Tringale are the two alternates.

In Japan, at Tarao Country Club, there were only three spots available, with Japan’s Yuta Sungiura and Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent sharing medalist honors at 10-under. Japan’s Jinichiro Kozuma one the four-for-one playoff at 9-under par to head to Oakmont for the U.S. Open. Riki Kawamoto and Taichi Kho are the two alternates.

In England, at the Walton Heath Golf Club, there were eight spots for players to qualify for the Championship. England’s Jordan Smith was the medalist at 10-under. France’s Frederic Lacroix, Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren, and Italy’s Guido Migliozzi all finished T-2 at 9-under. In fifth was England’s Sam Bairstow at 8-under. There were six players at 7-under, resulting in a six-for-three playoff. South Africa’s Jacques Kruyswijk, Italy’s Edoardo Molinari, and Italy’s Andrea Pavan secured their spot in western Pennsylvania by advancing in the playoff. England’s Matthew Jordan and South Africa’s Robin Williams are the alternates.
