(DuPont, WA) The 32nd Washington Women’s Amateur Championship and 16th Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship take place this week at The Home Course. Both Championships are three-day, 54-hole events. The ladies will tee off on Monday, June 16, and the final round is on Wednesday, June 18.

The winner of the Washington Women’s Amateur Championship receives multiple exemptions, including an exemption into the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon, in August. The winner of the Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship receives a lifetime exemption into the Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship, the 2026 Washington Women’s Champion of Champions, and the 2026 Pacific Northwest Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship.

Lauryn Nguyen won the 2024 Washington Women’s Amateur Championship, which was hosted at Whidbey Golf Club. Nguyen helped lead Northwestern to the NCAA National Championship last month. Taya Battistella is the reigning Washington Mid-Amateur Champion, winning by one shot last year for her first Washington Golf Individual title.
