The 104th Washington Men’s Amateur Championship is being held at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville from June 24-26. The field is 123 players with a cut to the low 60 plus ties after 36 holes.

The champion earns an exemption into the 2025 U.S Amateur Championship held at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California, August 11-17, 2025, the 2025 Pacific Coast Amateur Championship, the 2025 Rosauers Open (Champion must reside in the Pacific Northwest Section), the 2025 Northwest Open (Champion must reside in the Pacific Northwest Section), the 2026 Washington Champion of Champions, the 2026 Pacific Northwest Men’s Amateur Championship, the 2026 Washington Open (Champion must reside in the Pacific Northwest Section), and a lifetime exemption into the Washington Men’s Amateur Championship. The top-3 finishers are exempt into Final Qualifying for the 2026 U.S. Amateur Championship.

Last year, Woodland’s Dane Huddleston won the 103rd Washington Men’s Amateur Championship at The Links at Moses Pointe in Moses Lake. Huddleston shot a final round 6-under 66 to beat Max Herendeen by three shots. Huddleston attended Utah Valley University for his first two years of college, but will join Herendeen at the University of Illinois after transferring to the Midwest last month. Huddleston is looking to become the first player to win back-to-back Washington Amateur Championships since Don Scott did it in 1968 and 1969.
