The cougars continue to expand their roster with more impressive pick-ups under new head coach Kirby Moore. This pick-up comes from the Juco realm as Ryan McKendry, out of Los Medanos College, is ready to suit up for the Cougs. He led the CCCAA in three different receiving categories last year and tallied 44 receptions for 1,221 yards. The 6’2, 175-pounder also had 14 touchdowns to pair with his big yardage in only 11 games. McKendry averages 27 yards per catch and will be a massive weapon to open up the big play passing for WSU.

Washington State is slowly accumulating more and more pieces as its program goes through a significant change with new coaches, staff, and athletes. They have even gone into some unorthodox roster changes with their signing of a former professional basketball player in Nathaniel Salmon. The Cougars will likely look like a completely different team than they have in previous years. Under Kirby Moore’s direction and the way that he has already started to craft this new team, fans should be excited for what is to come under the Moore era.
