Former Auburn Trojan and current Saint Martin’s men’s basketball star, Kaden Hansen, joined GNAC Insider this week to talk about life in the GNAC, his road to recovery after a devastating injury, and why he chose to head south on I-5 and play for Saint Martin’s. Hansen is one of, if not the front runner, for GNAC Player of the Year. Hansen just set a career-high on Thursday with 37 points against Western Washington. He’s sixth in the GNAC with 18.1 points per game and leads the conference in free-throw percentage, at an astounding 93.3%, and is 42-45 from the line on the season. Hansen has seven games this season where he’s scored 20 points or more, including two of his last three games. He’s helped lead Saint Martin’s to a 14-2 overall record, 6-0 in the GNAC, and tonight, the Saints have a chance to break the program record for longest win streak when they face Simon Fraser.
