The GNAC released the preseason coaches poll, and after finishing second in the GNAC last year and making the NCAA Tournament, the Saint Martin’s Saints Softball team has been picked to finish second this year. The Saints received two first-place votes and are Saint Martin’s was 32-16 overall and a conference record of 16-7 in 2025. The Saints roster consists of 14 players from Washington and opens up the 2026 season at the First Pitch Invitational in Texas with five games in three days, starting on January 30.

The Saints play their first home games of the season on March 6, facing Western Washington, who’s nationally ranked third and picked to win the GNAC, with four first-place votes. Northwest Nazarene was picked third and the only other GNAC school to receive a first-place vote with one.
