The Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator has met with the Las Vegas Raiders’ front office and completed multiple interviews to become their new head coach. Kubiak has been a large part of the Super Bowl-level success of Seattle. Having their offense ranking third in points per game, 7th in total yards per game, and 8th in total pass yards per game, to name a few. He has especially been great in the postseason, where the Seahawks have averaged 36 points per game and 338 yards of total offense going into Super Bowl Weekend.
Win or lose on February 8th, Kubiak will find a new home in Las Vegas as the new head coach of the Raiders. He can’t sign anything official until after the Super Bowl but it is already a done deal. The Raiders’ last season, under Pete Carroll, went 3-14 and are in position to get the number one pick in the draft for 2026. Carroll was let go at the end of the season and forced Vegas to search for a new head coach. Another former Seattle coach is making his way to Nevada, and with the offensive genius of Kubiak paired with the weapons of the Raiders, maybe some new life will be brought into the organization.
Kubiak has one more mission to get done in though, and that is to help bring the Seahawks a Lombardi trophy back to Seattle. The 12s will be in search of a new offensive coordinator of their own once the season comes to a close. With Seattle going up for sale after Super Bowl 60, a lot of new faces will be seen around the Pacific Northwest for the Hawks. This will all be fleshed out in a week, however. First, the Seahawks have to handle business in Santa Clara against the Patriots.
