(Spokane, WA) Colfax Head boys basketball coach Reece Jenkin passed away Friday morning after battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. His team with his son on the squad and his daughter playing for the girls team both played in the State Regional tournament on Friday night as their Dad wanted them too.

Both kids honored their father with huge games scoring a combined 75 points between the two of them. Longtime sports writer for the Spokesman-Review, Dave Nichols wrote three beautiful stories about the tragic day that ended with h0nor and celebration.
