(Seattle, WA) The Seattle Seahawks GM John Schneider will be sitting in the Seahawks Draft War Room for the 17th year in a row. Schneider has a plan on how he intends to build the defending Super Bowl Champs roster with just 4 picks in this year’s draft. But that plan is fluid.

With a 1st round pick which is #32 as Super Bowl Champions, they also have the 64th pick in round 2, 96th selection in round 3 and then in the 6th round with the #188 pick.

Most Seahawk fans will be tuning in to see if Schneider uses that pick in the 1st round or moves down to try and add to his number of picks. Most believe the Hawks will certainly be open to trading out of the 1st round for additional picks but having the last pick you have to hope someone falls or a team is concerned about getting a specific player on day 2 to make a move at the end of the 1st round.

If the 1st round goes as every team believes and there is no urgency to get a player at the end of the 1st round then Seattle may be stuck with having to take a player. Of course there is also the possibility that a player is there that Schneider doesn’t want to miss.

Seattle’s needs appear to be running back and offensive guard and on defense an edge rusher and they can never have too many long athletic corners or safeties for Head Coach Mike Mcdonald’s defense.
