(Walla Walla, WA) The 33rd Washington Women’s Amateur Championship and 17th Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship are being held concurrently at Walla Walla Country Club, one of the six founding members of the Pacific Northwest Golf Association. The winner of the Washington Women’s Amateur Championship earns a spot in August’s U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.

The 2025 winners of the tournaments stand alone atop the leaderboard after the first round, with Bellevue’s Grace Lee shooting a three-under round of 69 to lead the Amateur, and Issaquah’s Tina Papatolis with an even-par 72 to lead the Mid-Am.
