South Sound Speedway: June 20 Results; Bob Presley Wins Chad Hinkle Memorial Super Late Model Main

South Sound Speedway hosted an action-packed night on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with four divisions on
the schedule.
Powersports NW Super Late Models: 7 cars, 76 laps, Hinkle Homes Hobby Stocks: 12 cars, 40 laps, Crown
Stocks: 7 cars, 30 laps, and Pro 4 Trucks: 8 trucks, 30 laps
The Chad Hinkle Memorial was originally scheduled for 138 laps. Due to the lower car count, drivers
requested a shorter distance. To honor Chad’s No. 38, the race was adjusted to two 38-lap segments, with a
competition yellow at lap 38, for a 76-lap total.

Powersports NW Super Late Models Main Event

The Super Late Models opened with Dylan Wolf on the pole and Robert Clark to his outside. Wolf led the
opening lap before a lap-16 caution on the front stretch, when Jeff Peterson bounced off the wall and
collected Mitch Franklin, who spun. Clark took over the lead on lap 17. After the competition yellow at lap
38, Bob Presley moved to the front on lap 39. Amando Ramirez brought out cautions on laps 49 and 64
with spins on the back stretch and in turn 3. Presley held on to win the 76-lap main event, followed by
Peterson, Tom Sweatman, Franklin, and Clark.
Results notes: Fast time went to Mitch Franklin at 14.125. Jeff Peterson won the dash.
Fans are encouraged to return July 11 for the Wes Rhodes Memorial race.

Hinkle Homes Hobby Stock Main Event

The Hobby Stock main began with Levi Allen on the pole and Craig Pfander outside. Pfander led lap 1
before Joe Champ took the lead on lap 6. The first caution came on lap 8 when Andy Reandeau and Eric
Woods spun on the back stretch. Jeremy Cleveland spun on lap 9 to bring out the second caution. Shawn
Jones took the lead on lap 10 and drove on to win the 40-lap feature, followed by Champ, Steve Pressel,
Derrick Presley, and Andrew Woods.
Results notes: Shawn Jones set fast time at 15.683. Craig Pfander won the dash. Heat race wins went to
Levi Allen in Heat No. 1 and Derrick Presley in Heat No. 2.

Crown Stock Main Event

The Crown Stock feature started with Mason McGregor on the pole and David Schoonover outside. Alex
Kieff led the opening lap before Donnie Steele took command on lap 8. Steele went on to win the 30-lap
main event, followed by Mason McGregor, Kieff, Travis McGregor, and Doug Wilde.
Results notes: Donnie Steele set fast time at 18.085, establishing a new track record. Alex Kieff won the
dash, and Steele also won the heat race.

Pro 4 Trucks Main Event

The Pro 4 Trucks event opened with Rod Helmuth on the pole and Mac Angeledes outside. Helmuth led lap
1, but the race quickly saw several early cautions. Angeledes spun in turn 4 on lap 1, and on the restart
Terry Warren and Greg Vaughn got together in turn 3. Angeledes spun again in turn 4 on lap 3. McKenna
Cox took the lead on lap 11 and went on to win the 30-lap main event, followed by Vaughn, Helmuth,
Jeremy Howe, and Jesse Gonzales.
Results notes: Greg Vaughn set fast time at 15.988. Mac Angeledes won the dash. Heat race wins went to
McKenna Cox in Heat No. 1 and Angeledes in Heat No. 2.
