South Sound Speedway hosted a full night of racing on Saturday, July 25, 2026, with six featured divisions taking the track.
*CSM Heating, Cooling, Roofing & Solar South Sound Modifieds: 10 cars, 100 laps
*Olympia Overhead Doors Vintage Modifieds: 11 cars, 35 laps
*Legends: 9 cars, 35 laps
*Young Lions Legends: 3 cars, 15 laps
*Bandoleros: 9 cars, 15 laps
*VMRA: 12 cars, 40 laps

CSM Heating, Cooling, Roofing & Solar South Sound Modifieds — Roy Harvey Classic Main Event

Brad Watson started on the pole with John Harvey to his outside, and Brad Watson led the opening lap before Blake Harvey moved
ahead on lap 2. The race saw its first caution on lap 24 when Monte Cox Jr. and Dan Walker came together in turns 1 & 2. Riley
Watson took over the lead on lap 26, followed by a competition yellow at lap 50. Kalob Watson moved to the front on lap 52 and
held on through late-race cautions on laps 59 and 60 to win the 100-lap South Sound Modified main event.
Results: Top five: Kalob Watson, Riley Watson, Dan Walker, Jesse Sharp, and Monte Cox Jr.
Fast time: Kalob Watson, 14.815.
Heat winners: Brad Watson won heat #1, and Dan Walker won heat #2.

Olympia Overhead Doors Vintage Modifieds Main Event

Dave Larson started on the pole with Chris Branon on the outside. Branon led lap 1 before Joey Cavin and Chad Smith became
stuck together in turn 2, bringing out the first caution. Jason Quatsoe took the lead on lap 4, but additional cautions followed on laps
7 and 17. Steve Woods moved into the lead on lap 8 and stayed out front to win the 35-lap Vintage Modifieds main event.
Results: Top five: Steve Woods, Jeff Peterson, Scott Rinkel, Joey Cavin, and Chad Smith.
Fast time: Scott Rinkel, 15.145.
Heat winners: Chris Branon won heat #1, and Scott Rinkel won heat #2.

Legend Main Event

Pyper Alton started on the pole with Roland McPeake on the outside and led the opening lap. Shane Sawin moved into the lead on
lap 2. Hamness spun in turn 4 on lap 6 to bring out the first caution, and a second caution followed on lap 12 when Tristan Haider
and Shane Sawin came together in turns 3 & 4. Dylan Wolf took the lead on lap 13 and went on to win the 35-lap Legend main
event.
Results: Top five: Dylan Wolf, Tristan Haider, Shane Sawin, Pyper Alton, and Grayson Miller.
Fast time: Tristan Haider, 15.423.
Heat winners: Grayson Miller won heat #1, and Shane Sawin won heat #2.
Young Lions Main Event
Leilani Langston started on the pole, with Carter Sweatman lined up to the outside. Sweatman led the opening lap before Caleb
Canfield took over on lap 9. One lap later, the caution came out when Sweatman spun in turn 4. Canfield stayed out front after the
restart and went on to win the 15-lap Young Lions main event.
Results: Top three: Caleb Canfield, Carter Sweatman, and Leilani Langston.
Fast time: Caleb Canfield, 15.961.
Heat winner: Caleb Canfield.

Bandolero Main Event

TJ Schlund started on the front row and led the opening lap. On lap 2, Karsen Schlund and Hunter Howe came together in turn 2,
bringing out the race’s only caution. TJ Schlund remained in control and went on to win the 15-lap Bandolero main event.
Results: Top five: TJ Schlund, Thatcher Olsen, Ryder Jones, Chase Hormann, and Chase Johnson.
Fast time: TJ Schlund, 18.102.
Heat winners: TJ Schlund won heat #1, and Chase Johnson won heat #2.

VMRA Main Event

Mike Clother started on the pole with Rick Villyard on the outside. After the green flag, Clother, Jason Quatsoe, and Shane
Strimple went three-wide in turns 3 and 4 before spinning to bring out the first caution. Vince Conwell led lap 1, and Villyard took
over on lap 2. A second caution came on lap 4 when Quatsoe spun in turn 3. Bart Hector Jr. moved into the lead on lap 13 and went
on to win the 40-lap VMRA main event.
Results: Top five: Bart Hector Jr., Kahl Cheth, Jason Quatsoe, Jesse Boczar, and Rick Yillyard.
Fast time: Bart Hector Jr., 14.778.
