The WTBOA Sale will begin at 1:00 p.m. with an opportunity to bid on a two-ticket package to the 2026 Breeders’ Cup World Championships, being held this year on October 30 and October 31 at historic Keeneland Race Course.
The package features Clubhouse GA tickets, providing unreserved access to the first floor of the climate-controlled clubhouse, the outdoor Clubhouse Lawn, the adjacent track rail viewing areas, as well as general access to Grandstand levels 1 through 3 and the paddock grounds. A $500 airfare voucher and hotel accommodations for three nights are also included in the package.
The winning bid is tax deductible and will benefit the many programs sponsored by the Washington Thoroughbred Foundation.
The 2026 Longacre Mile card saw a trio of sales graduates strike gold! Adios Jojo took the prestigious Mile and Mattie Goincoastal and Coal Front Kid won both juvenile stakes that were offered on the August 16 Emerald Downs card.
Among the 45 colts and 29 fillies being offered are full or half-siblings to 2025 Washington champions Precise Timing, Saleen G T and Stay Sassy; previous state champions Chai, Freightline, Koron, Miss Prospector, Papa’s Golden Boy, Special Diva and The Big Wam; and additional stakes winners Big City Lights (G3), A View from Above, Brilliant Bird, Dynamic Secret, For You Only, Gold Crusher, Grease Missile, Ima Margarita Girl, It’s Turbo, Miss Valor, Runnin Out of Days, Squeeze Me and This Great Nation.
Top Class Sires

Alternation leads all sires with 18 yearlings. Coast Guard has seven, Mo Forza has six and Barkley and Editorial five each.
On the female side of the pedigree pages, of the 74 dams, 15 were stakes winners (including three Washington champions) and another three were stakes-placed. So far, the first dams have produced 30 stakes winners, led by 11 champions, and another 18 stakes-placed runners. Twenty-two of the mares will have their first or second foal go through the sales ring, and of those, one is a champion, four are siblings to champions, five others are stakes winners and four other stakes-placed runners.
A Fashionable Broodmare
The lone broodmare, Champ of Pagne, is a winning daughter of 15-time leading Oregon champion sire and successful damsire Harbor the Gold. She is a half-sister to $711,960 six-time stakes winner and three-time graded stakes-placed Big City Lights and Grade 2-placed Exchange Vows. From a family of champions, six-year-old Champ of Pagne is being offered bred on an April cover date to Straight Fire, and her first foal, a filly by Dynamic Impact, sells at side.
