Camas 2 Mt. View 0

(Vancouver, WA) With a little more then a week left in the regular season the Camas Papermakers knew that each game from her on in was very critical. The Papermakers put on a clinic last night at McKenzie as the Papermakers shout out Mt. View 2-0. The win allows Camas to stay tied with Union at 8-0 for the league title.

The first twenty minutes of the first half Mt. View was very content to just allow their defense to play back deep and keep everything in front of them. That would work until the 20:51 mark of the first half when Toby Pizot found Danny Wing in  front of the keeper and delivered a perfect pass that Wing headed into the back of the net for a 1-0 Camas lead.

The first half would end with Camas taking a 1-0 lead in to the locker room.

The second half was a repeat of the first with Mt. View being very content with just keeping the defense packed in and not allowing Camas any long runs deep into the defense. And again that worked until the 13:30 mark of the half as once again it was Danny Wing taking a perfect feed from Bennet Lehner right in front of the net for his second goal of the night.

The loss leaves Mt. View at 3-5 in league play as Camas will go to 8-1 and remained tied with Union for the league title.
