Kalama 3, Toledo 0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-11)

(Toledo, WA) The Kalama Chinooks rolled over the Toledo Indians on Tuesday night with a straight sets win. The Nooks serving and defense were superb in this effort as they improved to 2-0 in Central 2B league play to stay tied atop the standings and 4-2 overall.

Danica Killinen led the Nooks with an offensive barrage the Indians could not handle and they continually fell behind as the Nooks applied pressure through out the match. Parker Esary came up with the Pacific Sports Spa Play of the Game in the 2nd set for Kalama with an impressive save and then put it away with a thundering spike.

Our Pacific Sports Spa Players of the Game were Killinen for Kalama an d Maria Carpenter for Toledo who turned in a solid performance in the loss to Kalama. Toledo continues to look for their first win of the year dropping to 0-6.
