(Chehalis, WA) The T-Birds bounced back after that pain-staking 3-2 loss to their cross town rival on Tuesday at Black Hills with a straight sets win over the Bearcats. In the first set, WF West made the T-Birds work for it pushing them to a 25-19 decision. After that it was all Tumwater who was determined not to overlook the up and coming Cats and put together 2 solid sets showing off their serving prowess in set 2 taking a 13-1 lead before winning it 25-10. In the third and final set the two teams traded points and side outs up to about 10 points, then the T-Birds flew away on 15 to 4 flight to seal the match 25-14.
The Thorbeckes Players of the Game went to the T-Birds Ellie Bocksch and the Bearcats Payge Crawford.
