(Boise, ID) Sam Winter graduated from Montesano High School this past Spring and believed his formal sports career was over after racking up many accomplishments and awards during his days as a Bulldog athlete when he tore his ACL in a State football Quarterfinal last Fall. Winter was a tri-sport athlete in Football, Basketball and Track. He earned Co-MVP honors in football as a receiver, was a 1st team all-league basketball and placed 4th in the triple jump at the 1A State Track Meet in 2019.

Basketball is his favorite sport and the injury cost him his Senior season and then Covid wiped out Track and Graduation. Somehow through all this Sam set his mind on returning to peak form and earned a spot on a college basketball team. Not just any team but the D-1 Boise State Bronco squad. Below is Sam’s Biography details and then check out his magnificent story in the Trending Up interview.
