(Bellevue, WA) The annual WIBCA basketball showcase is set for this weekend at Bellevue College. 16 teams of up to 10 players will compete in an all-star game format. The teams will be formed from areas all around the state.

4 teams will come from the Seattle area and 4 from the Tacoma surrounding area. 2 teams will come from the Northwest portion of Western Washington and 2 teams from the Southwest area. From the eastside of the mountains there is a team from the Yakima area and Tri-Cities market with 2 more taking in the rest of Eastern Washington including Spokane.

The players will get to play a minimum of 3 games with 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday with 2 teams getting a chance to play for the Championship at about 1pm on Sunday.

The event is the only sanctioned such showcase in the state and players will be on display showing their skills to a number of college coaches and recruiters. The event is hosted by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association and sponsored by Watts Basketball

All 25 games will be live streamed on the NFHS network and the games are also available on demand. The games will not be announced just a live stream with scorestrip. To watch live or on demand go to the following link on the NFHS network (subscription required).
