The Sumner Spartans scored twice in two minutes and their goalkeeper tandem recorded a clean sheet to lead the Valley to a 2-0 win over the Curtis Vikings. Sumner saw a pair of goals from Gannon Vanderhoof and Gavin Murphy while Kevin Ramos-Carrillo and Caden Gould recorded the combined shutout.
The game was dubbed as a matchup between the top two teams out of the SPSL. Sumner sought to maintain their 5-0 record in SPSL play while Curtis went into the night at 4-1 in the league.
