Ryan Garcia remains one of boxing’s biggest stars, and now he is looking to continue his legacy against “The Destroyer” Conor Benn, who has only one loss to his name in his young professional career. Benn’s only loss came to Chris Eubank Jr back in April of 2025, but he avenged that loss by beating Eubank Jr a few months later in November. Benn is on a two-fight win streak and now has Ryan Garcia up next. Garcia has been a staple in boxing over the last half-decade due to his speed, technique, and charisma. Garcia himself only has two losses in his career, both to amazing fighters in Gervontae Davis and Rolando Romero. Garcia is on a one-fight win streak after his win over Mario Barrios for the belt.

This will be a welterweight fight that will take place on September 12th in Las Vegas. On Mexican Independence Day, Garcia will look to defend his belt for the first time while Benn looks to capitalize on the first title shot of his career. This will be one of the biggest boxing matches of the year with one of the biggest names in the sport and another who is looking to cement his legacy barring a win. Both come into the match with similar records as well. Benn is 25-1 in his pro career while Garcia is 25-2. Garcia is the champion, though, and Benn will have to weather the storm in the biggest moment of his career. Can Benn dethrone “King Ryan” or will the champ retain his status as one of the best boxers in the world? All will find out come September 12th in Vegas.
