South Sound Speedway hosted an action-packed program on Saturday, July 11, 2026, featuring four divisions and a full slate of main events.
The night’s lineup included:
*Powersports NW Super Late Models: 8 cars, 126 laps
*Hinkle Homes Hobby Stocks: 9 cars, 35 laps
*NW Focus Midgets: 11 cars, 30 laps
*SS Bandits: 9 cars, 30 laps
The PR-Am Drift Tour cars also entertained the crowd with a strong exhibition for the fans. Racing continues every Saturday through the end of September. The full schedule is available at Southsoundspeedway.com.
Powersports NW Super Late Models Main Event
Dylan Wolf started on the pole with Robert Clark alongside him, and Wolf led the opening lap. Bob Presley
moved to the front on lap 36 and held on to win the 126-lap main event. Matt Doyle finished second,
followed by Jeff Peterson, Tom Sweatman, and Zandar Peters to complete the top five.
Results notes: Matt Doyle posted fast time with a lap of 14.028.
Hinkle Homes Hobby Stock Main Event
Jeremy Stone started on the pole with Levi Allen to his outside. Allen led lap 1 before Shawn Jones took
over on lap 10 and drove on to win the 35-lap main event. Derrick Presley finished second, followed by
Allen, Joe Champ, and Eric Woods to round out the top five.
Results notes: Shawn Jones set fast time at 15.683.
Heat race wins went to Levi Allen in Heat No. 1 and Derrick Presley in Heat No. 2.
NW Focus Midgets Main Event
Jason Thomas started on the pole with Riley Deaver on the outside, and Thomas led from lap 1. A caution
came out on lap 18 when Stitch Adkins began leaking fluid. Thomas went on to win the 30-lap main event,
followed by Riley Deaver, Corey Boyle, DeDe Shawley, and Curt Boyle to complete the top five.
Results notes: Jason Thomas set fast time at 14.181.
Heat race wins went to Ralph Deaver in Heat No. 1 and DeDe Shawley in Heat No. 2.
SS Bandit Main Event
Brian Taylor started on the pole with Sean Rothwell alongside him. Cameron Stark led lap 1, while a spin
by Thomas Rothwell in turn 1 brought out the first caution. Stark went on to win the 30-lap main event,
followed by Daryl Knutson, Dale Knutson, Jaxon Johnson, and Steve Miller to round out the top five.
Results notes: Cameron Stark set fast time at 15.143.
Heat race wins went to Cameron Stark in Heat No. 1 and Daryl Knutson in Heat No. 2.
