Every year in the MMA world, young prospects make names for themselves in the sport. This year in particular, though, it seems there are more prospects coming up, as well as potential future stars emerging. Fighters like Quillan Salkilld have become fan favorites due to their style and highlight performances consistently. Then there are fighters like Tommy McMillan who are a bit more controversial and get reactions from trash-talking and antics, but have the skills to back it up. This past weekend in Abu Dhabi, there were multiple fighters who had their UFC debut or their second or third fight in the company. This is why the Fight Nights are great for the promotion because it lets these young fighters get the chance on a big stage to go out and prove that they belong.

This coming weekend at UFC Belgrade, it will be a similar case. Young fighters on the rise who will put their skills to the test as they try to achieve their dreams of becoming among the elite in the sport. When the UFC goes global and travels the world, it lets fans see fighters from those regions and just how good the fighting culture is in different countries. The UFC is going to Belgrade, Serbia, for the first time, and it is a great opportunity for the Serbian fighters who are not well known to not only put on a show for their country but also put the UFC as a whole on notice as well.
