CENTRALIA, Wash. — August 5, 2026 — Matthew King today announced the beginning of a new chapter for Eli Sports Network, with a renewed commitment to providing high-quality coverage of high school sports across Washington.

King’s vision is to build on ESN’s tradition of showcasing student-athletes, coaches, and communities through expanded written coverage, live broadcasts, and digital content while continuing to deliver the local sports stories that matter most. He has been running the high school sports side of the company since November, 2025 but will now be in charge of everything surrounding the Eli Sports Network.

“I’m honored to lead Eli Sports Network into its next chapter,” King said. “Our goal is to continue to provide and expand outstanding coverage, celebrate student-athletes, and continue growing as Washington’s trusted source for Northwest sports with our primary focus remaining on high school sports.”

Under King’s leadership, Eli Sports Network will focus on expanding coverage, strengthening community partnerships, and enhancing its digital platforms to better serve schools, fans, and athletes throughout the state.
