Summer months can be difficult for students who rely on school for a regular source of meals. A partnership between the Dairy Farmers of Washington, the WIAA and Seattle Seahawks is looking to help fight that summer hunger. Along with helping schools prepare meals for the return of school in the Fall.

The local trio is reaching out for help in order to reach their goal through social media. They want the community to help spread the word and donate what they can for the cause. All of the funds raised will go to GENYOUth For Schools’ Sake campaign to help feed the community’s youth during the summer and fall months. GENYOUth will then provide grants for local schools and meal providers to help with supplies for meal delivery and distribution.

All money raised by the campaign up to $50,000 will be matched by Dairy Farmers of Washington with the help of the WIAA and Seattle Seahawks.

If you would like to help with a donation, you can do so here through this link.
