(Renton, WA) The defending Super Bowl Champions Seattle Seahawks plan appeared to be to move out of the 1st round and trade for additional picks. It looked like that was going to happen as a flurry of late 1st round picks were all happening just in front of the Hawks 32nd and last pick of round one. But when Seattle got on the clock the phone to GM John Schneider didn’t ring.

This meant the Hawks had to take a player. It wasn’t like they weren’t prepared as they had their list of potential picks and decided that running back was the position they wanted to address first when they selected Jadarian Price from Notre Dame. Price was the 2nd running back drafted in the 1st round with the first being his college teammate Jeremiyah Love taken by Arizona with the 3rd pick.

Our partner network, Cascadia Sports dot net has more on the Hawks first pick in 2026. You can read Mazvita Maraire’s story on this link.
