(Renton, WA) On day 2 of the NFL draft the Super Bowl defending Champions Seattle Seahawks had two picks of the four picks they had this year with one in the 2nd round and one in the 3rd.
In the 2nd round the Hawks added to last year’s besxt defense in the league taking Bud Clark a safety from TCU. Clark is an older player with 6 years of collegiate experience starting 10 games last year for the Horned Frogs. He’s also a ball hawk with 15 interceptions over the past 4 years.
In the 3rd round with selection #96 they traded down to pick 99 with Pittsburgh and added a 2nd 6th round pick for Saturday. Seattle went defense again with the 99th pick on cornerback Julien Neal from Arkansas.
Heading into the final day Seattle has two picks left both in the 6th round.
