Tari Eason started his high school career as a Garfield Bulldog before transferring to Federal Way. At Federal Way he joined Jaden McDaniels who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Eason returned to Garfield for his senior year and won a 3A State Title. In that title game he played and was named 3A tournament MVP over future #1 overall pick and NBA ROY Paolo Banchero who played at O’Dea.

Eason would go on to play college basketball for Cincinnati and LSU before being drafted 17th overall by the Houston Rockets in 2022.
