(Bellingham, WA) The 26th Washington Women’s Four-Ball Championship went to Sudden Valley Golf Club for the 36-hole, two-day Championship. Bellingham’s Taya Battistella and Issaquah’s Tina Papatolis teamed up to dominate the Championship.

The pair shot nine-under for the two days, which was a whopping 14 strokes better than second place. Battistella and Papatolis shot an eight-under 64 in the first round and followed up with a one-under 71 in the second round. The pair has combined to win the last two Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships, with Papatolis winning last year and Battistella in 2024. Battistella was the 2025 WA Golf Women’s Mid-Amateur Player of the Year, and both players were on Washington’s Lamey Cup team this year.

Ellen Liao from Bellevue and Shan Song from Seattle finished in second place after winning the title last year.
