(Walla Walla, WA) Walla Walla Country Club, one of the six founding members of the Pacific Northwest Golf Association, was the host site for the 33rd Washington Women’s Amateur Championship. The winner receives an exemption into the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship field, held at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee, in August.

Bellevue’s Grace Lee, who won last year’s Women’s Am, successfully defended her title with a dominating performance. Lee was the only player to finish under par and did so with all three rounds under par. Lee took a one-shot lead after the first round with a three-under 69. Lee extended her lead after being the only player to go under par in the second round with a one-under round of 71. Lee matched her first-round score with another three-under round of 69 to finish at seven-under for the week and win the Championship. Lee just concluded her senior year at Gonzaga University and will get her fourth start at the U.S. Women’s Amateur in August. Lee was the 2025 WA Golf Women’s Player of the Year and looks to continue to bring in more trophies this summer.

Eugene, Oregon’s Darae Chung finished the week at even par and took solo second place. Bellevue’s Amanda Peng finished third at three-over par for the week. One shot back was another player representing Bellevue, as Angela Zhang had back-to-back rounds of 72 to finish at four-over par and in fourth. In a tie for fifth, Berkley Ledesma from University Place and another Bellevue representative, Amber Li, finished the week at nine-over par.
